We are excited to announce that Upward Basketball is back for the 2025 season! We will have basketball teams for girls and boys from 1st through 8th grade. Below you will find additional details and the link to register. If you have any questions, please contact our league directors Ted & Jenny Williams.

Changes for 2025

Kids currently in grades 1 thru 8 can register.
Practice night for grades 1 thru 5 (Co-Ed) will be Monday or Tuesday evenings only. (games Saturday)
Practice night for Grade 6-8 Girls league will be on Thursdays only. (games Saturday)
Practice & game night for Boys Grade 6-8 will be on Friday only. (No Saturday games)

General Information

The first practices will begin the week of January 6 and the season will kick off with the first games on January 11. Each team will practice once per week and will have one game on per week. The season will end on March 11. Upward is a non-competitive league that focuses on teaching basic basketball skills, sportsmanship, and the Gospel.

Volunteer Opportunities

Upward is able to operate because of individuals who are willing to volunteer their time and talents to teach kids about basketball, sportsmanship, and the Gospel. Below you will find some volunteer roles that are available. No prior experience is required. We will be holding a coaches/volunteer meeting to get everyone up to speed. If you are interested in coaching or refereeing, please indicate that during registration and Ted or Jenny will follow up.
